Kinetic Flow

With more than fifteen years of combined performance experience, Kinetic Flow is far more than just a juggling duo. With a diverse range of skills including juggling, whip cracking, acrobatics, magic, and more, Kinetic Flow blends object manipulation with artistry, and danger with comedy.  Performing together since 2010, Billy Bellew and Andrew Towl have quickly made a name for themselves in the Oahu circus scene performing at corporate events, private parties, and everything in between. Constantly working on new material, the duo is blending acrobatics and  blends body movement into performances that keep audiences dazzled and amazed.

Billy Bellew

Originally from Massachussets, Billy got his creative start at the age of 12, when he acquired his first musical instrument, a guitar.  This sparked his appreciation for the skill and creativity of the performing arts.  He spent a majority of his adolescence creating and composing music.  In early 2008, the same year he moved to Honolulu to attend college, Billy expanded his creative interests to include not just music, but juggling as well.  This expansion exposed him to a whole new world of skill sets he was eager to acquire and share.  It wasn’t soon after he began this adventure, that he started performing for local events and shows.  Since his start on the scene in 2009, he has performed at many locations around Oahu including The Bishop Museum, Aloha Tower, Hawaii Theater, Ala Moana Center Stage, and more.  In 2011 he was cast as a performer in Cirque Wings at the Waikiki Shell.  Shortly after that, Kinetic Flow was born.  And with that, a new stage in his career as a duo performer with his juggling partner Andrew Towl.

Andrew Towl

Born in Maryland but raised in Vermont, Andrew got his start in the arts drawing on the walls of a Baltimore townhouse. Migrating from the visual arts, to music and finally to the performing arts he was fortunate enough to spend a summer traveling and performing in New England with Circus Smirkus, a children’s circus based in Vermont, and has been on and off stages in some form ever since. Gradually moving westward he has performed in various group and solo shows including juggling and street performing acts Happenstance, and Spy vs Spy out of Seattle, as well as being a founding member of the former Circus Open Mic at Seattle’s Hale’s Ales Palladium. Upon moving to Oahu, the island he now calls home, he was invited to play the roll of the juggler in the Hawaii Opera Theater’s production of Pagliacci, at the Blazedell Concert Hall. Now he divides his time between digital illustration and seeing just how far he and Billy Bellew can get Kinetic Flow to go.
